The introduction of the silhouettes has me pumped. The one with the swirly tail is probably grass, the fire-type is the skinny one, and the water-type is the ... blubber-y one? haha, idk.

I find these announcements and their reactions amazing. The thoughts of a pokémon fan is simply intriguing (and hilarious) to me. Kyogre forbid we don't get the world with our cake.

For me, I've completely lost all hatred towards the companies involved in the creations of new generations and monsters. Sure, would I prefer that Ken made more pokemon like the old days? Definitely, but I have no power over that, and frankly, a lot more combined don't equate to the force necessary to wake up a money-pumping giant.

I've come to accept that whatever happens, happens, and that I'll enjoy it simply because it's Pokemon. The day I stop having fun is the day I'll leave. Why bother ranting, venting, or going off on ridiculous meltdowns of "LACK OF IDEAS, WORLD IS OVER" stuff when I can happily await the game, purchase it, and enjoy.

    I cannot wait for the silhouettes to be revealed. I'm pretty sure I'm in love with the one on the right XD

    I can't believe that there's hate towards the starters already. In some of the threads, one including the gen 5 starters thread and some posts in the generation 5 speculation thread, are like, hating on the starters when their forms aren't even revealed yet. This is like, ridiculous.

    I would love if they just gave the starters a chance instead of going "oh the starters are getting worse and worse and worse". :|

    Personally I'm stuck between the one of the left and the one on top. ;__; it's so hard as they're both really cute. I'm not too sure about the one on the right though. :(

    The one on the top looks so cute <3 Looks like it may be some sort of piggy Pokemon. The one on the left looks cool, and its tail looks like it'll be a leaf fan. As for the one on the right... I'll have to judge it when its form is revealed.

    i agree that animosity towards starters before they are even revealed is misplaced.
    i myself usually don't train my starter as much as others, so i'm looking forward to seeing some new sprites.

    The one of the left looks like Charmander was hit by a bus, the middle one looks like Turtwig, Pikachu and Spoink all mated, and the one on the right looks like Piplup mated with a Mew.

    I just think they look silly. :/ I'll reserve judgment for when we actually see the Pokémon and not just the silhouettes but... just from this, I have no interest. Hopefully one will interest me, at least, so I'm not tempted to just port over a Cherubi to start out with. XD;

    I'm actually going to take a wild guess and say the one on the left is the grass pokemon. I mean, look at the shape of the tail. It resembles a leaf to me.

    As for the middle one, if it's anything like I seem to imagine it I think I'm going to fall in love.

    The right one seems pretty vague to me.

    I guess I think the one on the left is fire because of the shape is common of the fire-type-like symbol.
