2012 brings new things to discover as well as uncertainty about the future. It also brings more of that 2012 doomsday BS that has been running rampant the past few years, despite common sense and scientists actually proving that the predicted Mayan doomsday will not happen! But that still doesn't stop idiots like Discovery Channel, History Channel, Patrick Geryl and other morons from continuing to shove their doomsday shows and books down our throats!
Since the world will end in 356 days from now (we are in a leap year, so we have the 29th of February), I've decided to have my own fun with this "phenomenon". Don't worry, I'm not going to talk about how the earth will suddenly reverse its magnetic fields or anything like that. I lack the intelligence to make sense of that stuff.
The reason for this title if I'm not going to talk about 2012? A certain 80's song that critics think is probably the worst song in history.

NaNoWriMo is a go!

Okay, I told you guys that I'm planning on doing NaNoWriMo again this year, but I had to select an idea. Well, that's taken care of.
I have decided to do a Zombie Apocalypse story with a twist. You know in most zombie movies, the powers that be are powerless to stop it due to ignorance, lack of preparation and lack of zombie killing tactics. Well, the powers that be are smarter than they let people on and they actually have ways to combat a zombie outbreak. The plan is to encircle the area where the outbreak began with a wall that instantly kills anything that touches it and auto turret robots. Not only does it keep the zombies in the area from getting out, but it also traps the citizens of the area in there as well and prevents outside help from coming in to save them. So, the powers that be are sacrificing the people in there and when all of them become zombies, the military will come in and sweep the mess under the rug like a good government does.
The novel focuses on the main character who actually knows what the hell to do and his journey through the city, trying to escape certain death from zombies, people he knows, and the military.
I think I'll call it... "7 Weeks in Hell"
