nearly died tonight x_x;;

Sunday night means Desperate Housewives with my boyfriend at his place, or at least for me.
Due to practice running late and having to get food, I was about 15 minutes late for Housewives . . or so I thought. Turns out, it never even came on. The local station decided to show us the weather instead @[email protected];
For.
The.
Entire.
Hour.

So, instead, we watched Futurama.

Anyway, at about 10, we finished with Futurama and went home ^-^;
As I mentioned, the weather was ~crazy~, but when I left, it had stopped, or at least let down.
HAHAHA I WAS WRONG D:

A few minutes after I started driving [he lives outside of a town, and I have to drive through that town, and then another town just to get back to where I live], the rain starts coming down like crazy. D:

I reach the town he lives right outside of, and exit, and then it starts hailing. So, along with crazy rain and hail, I could barely see the road. My shield was covered in rain and my wipers were going crazy. Luckily, I paid attention to the stripes on the road, which I could barely see. I turned my flashers on, and went really, really slow. I basically turned a 15 minute drive into about 45 minutes. So, I reached the second town, and I pulled over in the parking lot of a church. It was still hailing, and I was like OH GOD WHAT ABOUT MY TRUCK ;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;

I hope it's fine @[email protected];
Anyway, I waited about a minute, and it started to let up.
I exited the parking lot, followed a truck to where I live, and finally made it back safe and sound. @[email protected];

It was so, so, so scary, though! Hydroplaning sucks. Plus, there's the whole being in a truck thing . . which, for those who don't know, means that like..the front of a truck is usually heavier than the back, and so when you turn too fast when the road is wet, your vehicle might spin around DDDDDDDDDD:
I didn't let that happen tonight, though, but I was worried it might. One of the roads I take to get to my apartment [on-campus] has a really bumpy turn [that has knocked several drinks out of my cup holders ;-;]~

So, yeah.
Craaaaaaaazy night u-u

    omggg. D: that's scary as hell. My roommate and me were driving to this event called Theater In The Park a few weeks back.. and we had a similar situation. Highwave + speeding + sheets of rain + can't see anything around you = D8

    ...we thought were gonna die. xD; and the event ended up not even happening.

    Man, that happened to me last year on a road trip from Houston to San Antonio. Rained so hard that it turned a usually three-hour trip into a five-hour trip. I-10 was crowded as hell that day too. D:
