If you want to know the real me, just turn the page in my dirt road diary.
It’s right there for you to see, every kiss, every beer, every cotton field memory.
Tan legs & some Dixie Land delight, ridin’ round, windows down on a summer night.
I was there, and that was me. It's right here in my dirt road diary.

My apologies for my…lack of blogging this past month! As you can tell..2016 started off pretty busy.
Also kinda..sucky too, health wise that is. I'm suffering from iron-deficiency Anemia for the third occasion. Also, so many good celebs and good personalities have passed away, especially David Bowie and a meteorologist whom I had admired for the past couple of years. I was heartbroken.
In terms of my anemia, thing is, even though I am eating better and I'm aiming towards organic foods (woo thanks Roy!), I lost about 25-30 pounds during my 10 months living in Houston. That, to me, is a LIFE ACHIEVEMENT. Like, I never lost that much weight in my life, and I feel like if I keep doing what I'm doing, I'll lose even more weight. However, I'm…not really a fan of getting skinny. I don't want to be skinny. I like who I am in terms of physical appearance. I like being curvy. All my life I was always picked on/bullied because of my weight, but as I grew older, I learned to embrace my weight. I'll still eat healthy, but I will also moderate on how MUCH I take.
Anyways, January was pretty busy. I started my fourth quarter of Uni, I'm now taking mostly general eds that will lead me toward my degree. Looks like I'm looking at a September 2016 completion date. I'm taking morning classes now, as the majority of the general eds are in the mornings, so I had to make a TON of adjustments at work.
Speaking of work, during the middle of the month, I sat down one day at the Westchase Starbucks and thought…why the everloving psyduck do I need a new job…when I'm almost done with school? I only need a few more months left. I was actually aiming for a full-time job with a huge pay. While in my current job, they're pretty flexible and pay me decently. Having a full-time job would actually jeopardize my education, which is something my parents are hoping that won't happen. It was a risky move that I was aiming for, but I am glad now that I aborted that mission.
I had a scare earlier in the month. Received a call from my mom, regarding my little sister. Turned out she was doing poorly, like literally poor in all of her classes in her school (she attends a private school). And she is just about had it with her. Her thoughts? She wants to send my little sister to LIVE WITH ME. I wanted to say "wtf mom WHY" but then again, she actually has a valid point. My little sister behaves well when I'm around, or when I'm with her. She observed that behavior when I was visiting the family for the holidays. She thinks that my little sister will do a better job when she lives with me. Mom, dear…do you think I have enough responsibility to take care of a teenager…at this AGE? It'll be like Lilo and Stitch, only except Stitch won't be coming from outer space anytime soon.
I've been more involved in the gaming world thanks to Roy and a friend of mine (who was…sadly, shipped off to Georgia for the military last week). Been trying to rack up with my killstreaks in Team Fortress 2 as well as exploring what class I perform best (I'm a Pyromaniac). Obviously Splatoon is still a thing for me. Super Mario Maker…I need to unlock more costumes for the mystery mushrooms, and complete Expert mode (ugh, haven't been able to!). Finally started playing Yoshi's Wooly World as I haven't been able to since I got the game for my birthday. It's pretty cute, actually! Last but not least, UNDERTALE. I am halfway through, and my most favorite thing about the game is tEMMIE.
February will be busy as well! SO MANY THINGS TO DO! I'm actually pretty excited. First off, Roy's birthday. I canNOT wait for that. Already got the cake and presents planned, and I'm gonna celebrate the same way he celebrated my birthday. <3 Also, going to celebrate Valentines Day for the first time since 2009. It's been 7 years since I actually cared about Valentines Day. I went to Disneyland with my first boyfriend (yeah, and to this day I'm still a little torn lol). I'm…not planning anything big for Roy, and he doesn't want me to go "above and beyond". All it matters is that we still care for each other. Last but not least, HOORAY FOR CONVENTIONS. Anime Matsuri is back. This was my first ever convention I went to in Houston. I cannot thank my friends, especially Roy, who gifted me access to the convention), for giving me my first ever con experience last year. And now, we're planning to attend the convention together as a couple. It's going to be awesome!~
