RAMBLINGS OF A MADMAN
The purpose of blogs vary. Many are simply personal ones, where they describe the workings of the author's life. Some are political, rallying for one side and decrying the other. The purpose of this blog is to post my internal musings about things I don't fully understand. There are few answers in this blog, but many questions. No post is a light read - I endeavour to make them long and deep. And I never give a tl;dr version. If I haven't scared you away yet, happy thinking. :D
Consider this.

Imagine yourself as a tiny fly. Just buzzing around, everything in grayscale, but massive. As you woosh past a giant, transparent wall, you land on a giant, delicious mound of food. You don't know what it is, but you know it's sweet.
Suddenly, a giant in the distance gasps in disgust, making an apprehensive face as she lays eyes on you. She waves a massive appendage. It's terrifying. It's quick. Too stupid to know that it would never hit you (if it did, it would ruin the cake you'd just landed on), you fly away.
As you buzz along, glad you didn't get squashed (although the memory's fading quickly), you encounter another problem. Suddenly, you're no longer flying. You're suspended mid-air. By almost-invisible, white sticky stuff. How terrifying it must be to see all those eyes, and those eight legs, moving towards you. Your life might flash before your eyes, if you had the brain capacity to hold your life in memory form.
Closer the arachnid gets, closer, closer...
And then nothing. Simply nothing. Focus on the nothing.
And that, my confused fellows, concludes my first blog post. :D
