2012 brings new things to discover as well as uncertainty about the future. It also brings more of that 2012 doomsday BS that has been running rampant the past few years, despite common sense and scientists actually proving that the predicted Mayan doomsday will not happen! But that still doesn't stop idiots like Discovery Channel, History Channel, Patrick Geryl and other morons from continuing to shove their doomsday shows and books down our throats!
Since the world will end in 356 days from now (we are in a leap year, so we have the 29th of February), I've decided to have my own fun with this "phenomenon". Don't worry, I'm not going to talk about how the earth will suddenly reverse its magnetic fields or anything like that. I lack the intelligence to make sense of that stuff.
The reason for this title if I'm not going to talk about 2012? A certain 80's song that critics think is probably the worst song in history.

So, we have to buy THIS so THAT can run right?!!!

Okay, the next step in my computer quest has hit a roadblock. And it has been a pain in the... well, you know.
My friend and I did get the video card so I can hook up my new computer to my TV. We went to Best Buy and saw it there. It set me back $130 for it. ><
So, when my friend was about to do his crafty work, he looked at the box and it said that it needed 300 watts or better for it to work right. And we looked at it and the power unit in my computer was 250 watts.
So, we had to GO BACK to Best Buy and we got a 400 watt power unit! And that took the rest of my money to boot!! So, I am now broke until this Thursday.
When we FINALLY got back to the place, he finally installed the thing. But somehow, he screwed up during the instillation and it wasn't working right.
So, I just left it at his place while he works on it. I hope everything will work on the damn thing when I finally get it in my room soon. It does give me some time to clean up around my entertainment center and find a place for it.
Why me...

Awww. D: I bet you were very excited when you got the video card and your hopes were dashed. Only because you needed a bigger power supply. x.x Dang, that sucks. But I guess the video card needs it. I know you going to be very happy when you do get it. ^^ Now you don't need to go upstairs anymore and you spend as much time on as you want. =DPosted October 13th, 2008 at 10:42 AM by Lucy Lu
