Got myself a new desk!

...Okay, so it's not technically new, but it is new to me! It's exciting so I'm babbling on the blog.
About two years ago I bought a $20 desk. It was small, just large enough for my monitor, basically. This worked just fine, until I bought my laptop. I only have a 15" (or so) one, but my desk was TINY. My desk ended up like this:
(I only have a crap cell phone, so it takes crap photos.)
When the monitor was turned off, it wasn't a big deal. Then I started using a dual-monitor setup with said monitor. Part of the screen was always cut off by my laptop, as you can tell. It's been a bit of a pain. In addition, there's no room to put crap, so I've been using my desktop tower as an endtable. It's not a good idea. Pretty sure that's the reason the CD drive doesn't open anymore... >_> And to top everything off, the desk wobbled like no other, because it was a cheap $20 desk. Not something I really wanted my laptop on anymore.
So the other night, my roommate asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I told him "I want your spare wood desk in your room!" Seriously, all he used it was for storage. He bought a cheap black desk for his room and then he moved the spare into my room. As soon as I had the top polished, I set up the desk and discovered what it's like to have SPACE again.
It is way classier than it looks I swear. XD
Now I need to get a new mousepad, though. This one's beat up. I wasn't worried before because it was hidden but now that I can see it? Ugh. :(

I guess the question is, which NaNo? I had like two other desks I did NaNos on as well. None were as small as the one I just got rid of though, haha.Quote:
This one is definitely the roomiest one that I've used in a long time.
Nice to see you back for a bit, btw. /late to the partyPosted December 20th, 2011 at 6:35 PM by Sammi

Nayr is all I needed to tell you it was THIS desk I had that year. (Pretty sure anyway.) I had a lot more room there than the desk I've had the last two years.Quote:
I have yet to find a character to call Nayr. :pPosted December 20th, 2011 at 6:55 PM by Sammi
