I get that stories are sad, that I should be sad, and that I should feel sad, but…

I can't feel it. It's not that I don't think I shouldn't be, but I don't get the concept that you would even think about being sad and cry for something that's not yours. I feel sympathy for them, that their lives are in the drain right now, but…

They're not me. Why should I feel sad and mopey? There are other ways to show your sadness and condolences or whatever, at least that's what I tell myself (which is probably wrong most of the time in the first place).

It's always embarrassing when we all watch a sad movie or hear of a sad story like the two today, and I don't say "Oh, they're so (insert negative adjective!" and they all get mad at me.

I don't know the incident in Connecticut, I'm assuming that what you're talking about, has just really hit me hard. I mean why shoot up an elementary school full of innocent school children? That's just awful especially since I don't think he had any reason behind it. Even hours later it's still a bit hard to get over . It's probably gonna be stuck with me for the rest of the day today. My heart and prayers go out to their families.

I have sympathy, but why stick yourself to the ground when you can bring all of us up?

I honestly think this is true. Work to bring them up gently, not to bring yourself to their level. Know how to give them a boost, but not rip them from their place in sadness.

And meanwhile, fix the problems that lead up to these events happening in the first place. Somebody had a skiing accident because of bad snow? Find a way to help fix global warming. Somebody important died of cancer? Instead of moping around and "having a heart", try to comfort the people who are directly affected by the death (eg family and friends) and try to find a way to help cure cancer. Someone went on a shooting rampage? Try to comfort the families, that's right, but try to find a way to help improve our murder-prone people (eg the mentally unstable) and improve their living conditions and care, and have a little more gun control, whichever way you think you can help.

droomph, Syddy was merely showing that she agrees with Toujours. Nothing unnecessary about it.

It would have been pointless to say the same thing. I didn't know my comment was gonna be made into such a big deal. Excuse me for commenting on the blog, damn. lol

    big deal? Okay.

Still, through the logic that you would've posted the same thing, you still said something very offensive. I have feelings.

I may not 1) know you or 2) have any feelings, but all I know is that I'm literally crying because of your remarks.

I'm sorry. That's just the way things are for me. I'm sorry if I made it look like it was all your fault. But the fact that you guys are so cheeky about **** like that has genuinely made me want to kill myself so many times in the past.

Nobody in the world loves me. I'm sorry. I thought you were my last hope. I was wrong.

I'm too much of a chicken to kill myself, so I'm just going to cry. I have nobody in the world who cares. They say they love me, but I know they're just putting up with me.

I'm sorry to have ever been born. I hope you guys are happy to know that I won't be ever bothering you three ever again.

I've never had to genuinely ignore someone on PC, but you have to make it so.

I'm sorry you feel the way you do. Sydian wasn't intentionally trying to cause you to feel that way, and I'm sure if she anticipated you taking her comment the way that you have she wouldn't have commented at all. She may come across as a hard ass sometimes, but she's a softie. Promise.

I understand your feelings, but they're feelings that make me very uneasy about what you're going through in your life. I'm concerned. I think you should consider seeing a therapist for you suicidal thoughts. They're a lot better equipped to deal with things like that than we are. I really feel for you, but to think that nobody cares about you or loves you is something that you're going to have to overcome internally, and I'm not really sure how I can console you to help improve your feelings. But I'd even suggest seeing a psychiatrist, because taking what people say on a Pokémon forum so seriously that you want to kill yourself because of that is almost as concerning to me as your suicidal thoughts are.
