Ask me anything.

My ask me anything thread is butt. I'm really bored, so can you please cure my boredom by taking the time to ask me anything. It can be about, well, anything! :P

I think a lot of people in the world make a big deal about things that don't need to be taken so seriously or made to be such a big deal. That's something I have problems with when dealing with some people individually and personally, and that's something that I would prefer a lot of people get over.
I really don't know. Money and love are both very essential things in the world for different reasons. I'm at the point in my life where I want to be with someone, even though for a very long time I've wanted to focus on building my future and saw love as a distraction. So because of that, I'm going to say love. But money is actually more important. A person can technically survive in this world without love. It won't be a very emotionally fulfilling existence, but the things that we need in life require money.
I'm making plans to meet up with Fairy again (dunno if she's comfortable with using her name in public?), so maybe we can swing by there and we can all meet up? Excuse me, though, I might need a beer or two (or five) to loosen up since meeting new people isn't my strong point.Posted March 30th, 2014 at 10:22 PM by Nick

Hmmm, that's an interesting way to look at things. Not exactly 100% sure if I agree with it, but I can see where you're coming from!
And you and I are spot on with question number two =P No worries with the beer(s) buddy, I'm cool with that, haha. Just don't puke on me, and we'll have a grand time. :DPosted March 30th, 2014 at 10:31 PM by Honest

Given you said Unova was your least favorite region, how do you think Black 2 and White 2 compare to their predecessors?
And what makes Kanto #1 for you? Nostalgia?Posted March 31st, 2014 at 7:12 AM by Pendraflare

I actually think you're one of maybe three or four people in the world to care about the 1976 Oldsmobile Omega, Elite Overlord LeSabre™.
I don't know what my dream career is anymore. I don't know what I want to do with my life. I just want to be at a job that I enjoy making enough money so that I can live comfortably and not worry about paying the bills and afford to entertain myself. I like spending money, I like saving money. I want to have a job where I can do both without too much sacrifice.
I'm glad PC has developed into such an open minded community willing to try new things.
At least in the parts of the forum I visit, I don't like how most of the members are cookie-cutter perfect people who aren't capable of insulting anyone or displaying any sign of emotion or humanity past happiness. It creeps me out, and honestly angers me a lot. It wasn't always like that. It makes the forum boring to me, and I don't like that.
Yeah, I would like to get married, and I would eventually like to lead a pretty traditional lifestyle. You know, have kids, and so forth. But the idea of kids right now terrifies me.
Returning to staff? I don't think I'd ever be given that opportunity again, but if I was, I can say with 100% certainty that I would turn it down. I still like to leave my suggestions and comments about how they're all running the show, but I don't have the interest to return to what I was back in 2010 (when I think I was at my prime as far as staff matters were concerned). PC means a lot to me, but I'm not interested in being on that side of taking care of it anymore. And you know what? It took me a long time to get to this point, so I'm very pleased with that. That I've moved on from PC staff.
I hate Gen 5 and everything about it. So as far as I'm concerned, Black 2 and White 2 suck just as much as Black and White. But to answer your question, I guess I would say Black 2/White 2 was an improvement.
I don't necessarily consider Kanto to be #1. It's the original, so I leave it alone. Kanto is just a classic to me, and I'm one of those people who believe nothing can touch the classics. So I leave it alone and give it the recognition it deserves. I would suppose that's nostalgia!Posted March 31st, 2014 at 7:36 AM by Nick
