a bit too close to home

So we all hear grim news stories about people being murdered, but for me, today, things got a little too close for comfort.
At 2:30am last night, someone was murdered behind my house. If I had been up and looking out my window, chances are I'd be able to see every detail. Grim, right? Police and forensic teams have been crawling around all day, but thankfully have caught the murderer.
It was so surreal though.

That's absolutely horrifying. In a way, depending on how it was done - gunshot, knife, etc. - if the guy noticed a witness, he could've been scared or angry enough to break in and attack you, too. That they caught the individual is the most important part, and luckily there were no further victims.
Very scary, though! But you may have literally dodged a bullet there.Posted September 28th, 2014 at 6:53 AM by Belldandy
