Some people should be ashamed to call themselves Pokemon fans
I also thought there were 386 because I don't count D/P because they have stupid names and are hard to remember :(
..I probably can't even name all from R/S. XD;Posted December 18th, 2009 at 10:30 PM by Ho-Oh

Poorly worded is right. Of course, it is entirely possible that they are just a douche and forgot how many Pokemon there were. *shrugs*
And Natsu, where have you been hiding since GSC? o_OPosted December 18th, 2009 at 6:23 PM by Misheard Whisper

It's weird logic not to count them into the full tally of pokemon as they were already created, but they thought of the new ones -because it was only in Japanese- not part of the full "ones to remember" count.
So they were saying "I know all 386 that everyone else knows PLUS the new Japanese ones that some people don't know". It's stupid yes and they could have worded it better, but I don't think they erred.
Like "Yes I've seen all ___ Pokemon episodes but also the ___ that are banned in English!" So the REAL tally would be ALL the ones shown in Japan, but specific to the English dub those count as 'extras' because they were not or are not yet localized. At that point in time knowing all the Japanese pokemon names for DP were 'extras'.Posted December 18th, 2009 at 6:01 PM by Nina

Joking aside, I guess that guy must have not remembered some Pokemon.Posted December 18th, 2009 at 5:22 PM by Eucliffe

But they said they knew all 386 (which was the number after generation 3) including the new ones in D/P.Posted December 18th, 2009 at 4:05 PM by Misheard Whisper

DP came out September 2006 in Japan, but not in North America until April 2007. I guess they don't officially "count" for remembering them all as the criteria for Otakuness doesn't include the Japanese names.Posted December 18th, 2009 at 3:11 PM by Nina

Eh, I've never seen Titanic, and I don't think I want to, but wasn't it the biggest-selling movie of all time or something?Posted December 17th, 2009 at 11:26 AM by Misheard Whisper

I have been hearing great things of that movie (heck, I was watching CNBC online and the people are talking about it D: ). Titanic isn't my fancy (watched it longgggggg ago with my mom and she loves it xD; ), but this seems more fitting for me even though I'm not into sci-fi.
Weirdly enough, watching the trailer reminds me of Daft Funk's Interstella 555 movie/music videos. XDPosted December 17th, 2009 at 11:24 AM by Bay

lmao Michael you're getting confused. It's got nothing to do with The Last Airbender, although they were making a movie out of that, last I checked (which looked rubbish imo).
@ Seth: Only creepy on the posters. In the film, he's more like . . . idk, intimidating? XD He's human half the time, anyway.
And this is way better than Star Wars. I even made that exact same connection while watching it.Posted December 17th, 2009 at 12:04 AM by Misheard Whisper
