SATs - Part Deux
I had a bubbling problem too, and it happened to be for the longest part too. Thank God my proctor was half asleep the entire time, or I would have got caught bubbling section 5 answers while we were on section 6. xD
That comment made you sound like an oldie, Lightning. xDPosted May 3rd, 2009 at 3:03 PM by Gummy

SATs - Part Deux
Yikes! D:
Umm you can have your scores canceled up to some time next week, I believe. :)
Usually, it's kosher to bring your own calculator. That's what I did yesterday when I took it. You can borrow one from your school for the weekend if you explain the situation.Quote:WTF? Had a taken this at my actual High School, I would have been provided with a calculator, but apparently this school was too poor to buy calculators for everyone.
But, alas, yesterday when I took the SAT, I accidentally bubbled section four where section three is supposed to be bubbled because I inadvertently skipped a section. ~_~
Luckily I was able to fix the situation in the end, but geez.
I also had a misbubbling problem when I took the PSAT earlier this year. I'm just not good with SAT's I guess.
ACT, however, I'm good at haha.
It gives you five minutes more time. :(Quote:Starting with an essay was random, as the ACT ends with the essay and gives you more time anyways, iirc. Anyways, yeah, I totally BSd about my life too and made it sound corny. They love corny things and big words and many examples.
They didn't have as advanced problems..? I guess.Quote:I wonder what they did when calculators didn't exist? xD
And, personally, I kind of liked starting off with the essay; I like writing essays, but I dread doing it under time limits. Starting off with the essay, for me = no more worrying about essay :D

SATs - Part Deux
Hey, I took the SAT yesterday too.
Just chill. It's not the end of the world. XD
Starting with an essay was random, as the ACT ends with the essay and gives you more time anyways, iirc. Anyways, yeah, I totally BSd about my life too and made it sound corny. They love corny things and big words and many examples.
I hated how they divided the sections. Good God, it seemed like it would never end. If only they compiled all of the math, etc in one hour long session.. x_x
You should have really brought a calculator.. I'm helpless without a calculator because I've become so dependent on mine. :x
Don't feel so bad about it; you can take it again (even though it's a betch to pay for), but I'm sure you did better than a lot of kids.Posted May 3rd, 2009 at 12:26 PM by TwilightBlade

SATS are like STD's. Once you get rid of them, your life is going to be awesome.
Good luck.Posted May 1st, 2009 at 6:21 PM by Her

The DSi that almost wasn't
Gamestop really is skimpy. <_>;
It's almost depressing what they pay you. ;~;
But congratulations on the upgrade! I have a feeling, that hacking will be taken to a new level, due to the SD slot. ;DPosted April 27th, 2009 at 4:43 PM by 레트로

The DSi that almost wasn't
Always sell your stuff online for better deals, you can get at least half the price you bought a game for from a storePosted April 9th, 2009 at 5:44 PM by Zet

The DSi that almost wasn't
I'd suggest liquidating any games/consoles at sources which would generate more revenue.
i.e. eBay or Craigslist
Sending your goods to gamestop or a pawnshop is just asking for it.Posted April 9th, 2009 at 4:06 PM by bgt

The DSi that almost wasn't
Selling games back at Gamestop isn't even worth it, I'd say. :( Unless you're selling a game that you JUST bought (and probably haven't had time to finish), you barely get anything. Then they sell it back to people at twice the price you were paid. It's so pointless.
:( You should try selling on eBay or something instead. You'll get more for your games.Posted April 9th, 2009 at 1:59 PM by Cherrim
