I was gonna blog today but I Stunfisk'd

Database error ate my blog post from earlier today! I was gonna blog about how 2 of my classes were cancelled and I thanked sweet baby Arceus. That blog post didn't happen because of Stunfisk... No one likes you, get out, Kanto and Johto ftw.

So, here's a a Starmie'd.

This was a draft I made back in April 2010. Yeah, back when HGSS was cool. I never got around to polishing nor publishing this... Enjoy. BANDWAGON HGSS okay B)

Venusaur vs Golduck
Ew, I do not remember Misty using Golduck. Level 49 is not very high, either, considering I just tackled Brock's 50+ team (whoo battling gym leaders in order syndrome). Anyway, this nice appetizer goes down with a swift Power Whip (whips are fitting >:C)

Venusaur vs Quagsire
Out comes QUAGGGG may I hug it? Well, I snicker at its 4x grass weakness so instead of Power Whip, I order Razor Leaf, which MISSES DURING A CRITICAL TIME IN BATTLE... Quag's Earthquake leaves an average dent. Okay, we are fine. Chillax. Next turn, Razor Leaf hits, and actually critically hits, which makes up for its previous retardation. BAHAHA EAT LEAVES YOU SLIPPERY... (Bulbapedia suggests that Quag is a salamander wtf)... TOAD grrrr.

Venusaur vs Lapras
I love Lapras, but its HGSS sprite looks awful. On its first turn, Lapras spams Sing. Thanks for dampening my epic Power Whip strategy. As I know that Lapras is packing Ice Beam, I swiftly switch out to.... Typhlosion! Now, this is the part I forgot. It was a painful stall match. Lapras kept spamming Sing while I played revolving doors. Being thrifty as usual in a Pokemon game, I did not have that many Full Heals. Being noob as usual in a Pokemon game, I lacked a surefire way to trump water types that knew Ice Beam. >:<

Finally, Lapras goes down. As soon as I think I have wiped out Misty's powerhouse, she sends out Starmie. @___@

Typhlosion vs Starmie
Okay, I have a legit strategy here with my Fire Type! Burn via Lava Plume and Flinch via Headbutt. It usually works, lol. Hax is the only way I win. ;) On the first try, I did burn the awful starfish WOOT

Azumarill vs Starmie
Again with the bad type match ups! I have to swap out Typh for Azumarill. She happens to nicely sponge the next Water Pulse. I try for an Aqua Jet because Starmie bloody outspeeds my whole team. I just want to experience that quick HEY IMMA NINJA YOU feeling despite dealing puny damage, heh.

I swear, with so many Ice Beams Starmie dealt, Azuzu was either going to a) FREEZEomghax or b) confirm my beliefs that leaders have 99 PP or simply hack as Lance's Dragonite Dragon Rushed me for God knows how many decades. Anyway, I unleash Superpower, which luckily CRITS, sending Starmie into the red zone. So, I finally 8DDDD rapidly and then sdkelfelkf after Misty uses a Full Restore...

Steelix vs Starmie
Steelix was an okay choice. He was actually the one to finish Starmie off with a Crunch. Yay for training him special defensively!

SO YEAH, MY TYPH, AZUMARILL, AND STEELIX HAD TO TAKE CARE OF MISTY'S AWFUL STARMIE >_<
