Blog #23 - Hobos Crashing Thru Windows (For real)

My family and I live in an upstairs apartment. We love to be nice, and being that it was the holidays our share and love levels had at least tripled. There's a homeless gent who "stays" in the down stairs apartment with the landlord's permission. He's a nice guy, but a bit of a drunk.

Being that it's Christmas, we indulged the little hobo and brought him into our home for the "Day before Christmas Eve Party" we hold every year. Nearing the end of the party, this gent had a little too much to drink, kind of staggering and such. When the party wrapped up, he was on his way out the door when his drunkenness took a strong foothold and tripped his butt up, he fell into the window, shattered the glass and was halfway out before my step-father rushed to pull him back onto the other side. He was fine, no cuts, no bleeding, he was cool. We escorted down to his home and we lol'd about it later.

We, as a family, have made mutual pact about our guest for future occasions.

A. He can no longer drink with our beverages.

B. He can no longer come upstairs.

I share this story because this was about the only note worthy event for the whole holidays. Everything else was rather normal.
