This week, Brock makes a splash in the Grand Lore Stage, and Ash gets ready to face off against his second opponent.
This episode was majorly rewritten to account for Ash's limited team and to make room for the Grand Lore Stage--I mainly removed the match between Macy and Jackson to make room for the Grand Lore Stage, and maintain the story's focus on Ash and friends, as I felt actually seeing the match made the episode drag now that Misty and Brock have a reason to be in the League, so it took place offscreen.
Ash meeting Jackson is dramatically toned down from before, as he is limited to his remixed six plus Blaze and Brenna (as they are plot important) I was originally going to include part of the match between Ash and Jackson, but decided to move it into its own episode, and have the Grand Lore Stage be a bit of a breather after the intense episode last time.
I do acknowledge Ash's Bulbasaur Saria by having her be the one that Brenna is talking to in the Pokemon Center--Ash does mention the end of Lightning Yellow and the Kanto League, but I will elaborate on that when we get to that remix.

The show the gang watches at the end, "The Poke-Mom League" is an in-universe TV show about how a boy's overprotective mom goes with him on his journey to the Pokemon League. While the first few seasons were set in Kanto, the show traveled to Johto for Season 6, making for new shenanigans.
