Are you bored and looking for something to do? Do you want to improve your skills at the same time? Do you like pokemon?

If you have answered "yes", "no", or "maybe" to any of these questions, you should check out the Winter Writing Competition.

It's a neat little competition to see how your writing can be improved. Just pick a prompt, follow the simple instructions, and you'll receive feedback from some of PC's best members and me! It doesn't require any commitment past one short story. Even if you're not a writer, we'd love to see a story from you. Where else can you test your skills in such a friendly environment? Nowhere, that's where!

So come on down and show us what you got! Only good things can come from it. Unless you have an allergy to fun. Then it's not so great. In reality though, an allergy to fun is the only reason why you shouldn't enter. So why not give it a shot? :D

In all seriousness though, this seems pretty cool. I don't remember the last time I've tried out a writing competition or written a story for that matter. Don't expect my skills to be fantastic though, I'm horrible. XD
