A little worried about Heart and Soul game.

Gold and Silver are by far my favorite Pokemon games, and I'm extremely excited for the remake. However, I'm worried that I won't appreciate these games as much as you folks will. Silver is my favorite Pokemon game in the series, (I never really liked Ho-oh all that much. :x) Although I would like to see a Gold and Silver fad back in the U.S.A, I'm scared for these remakes. Gold and Silver were both very original and great games. They are what some people call The Golden Age Of Pokemon. The Pokemon released had the best designs, the plot had the best storyline, the Gym Leaders featured in the game are some of the most memorable, and we all share several moments in Gold and Silver that we'll remember for the rest of our lives. The game not only had great new Gym Leaders, new towns, new Elite four members, and Pokemon, but they kept the old Kanto crew as well. In other words, they mixed the old in with the new, which in my personal opinion is Pokemon's best project. If they made a Johto remake, I would want a taste of the past. I wouldn't want a brand new, improved, excellent 09-10 technology game. I know that the intentions for a remake are the exact opposite of what I want. I'd want to turn my DS on in 2009 or 2010, (whenever it releases in the US) start the game and feel like I'm taking a step back into 2000. Gold and Silver mixed in the old with the new like I said earlier, which was amazing. What I'd like to see would be a repeat of that. I'd like a mix of 2009-2010 with 1999-2000. I'd like to feel like I'm taking a step back into 1999-2000, the best years of Pokemon, in 2009-2010. The creators will most likely make a 2000 game feel like a 2009 game, which is the exact opposite of what I want. I don't want it this game to feel like the present, I get enough of the present already. I want a big fat taste of the past. My expectations aren't very high for this game at all. But that's just because I think differently from most of you. That's just the way I feel. :x

N'kay, giant rant is over now. XD

M'Kay tater tot you can think how you want so um M'Kay. I personally love all the games so yeah. I expect it to be great not like the original but still the same feel of progressing through something I know is great.
