A Year of Funny Pictures: September 5th
"Art Bloggity is a series in the Daily Bloggity that showcases the art I've made through stippling, or dot values. A dot value is a picture that has been created by using a fine sharp point sharpie and made entirely out of dots; no single lines, no coloring in. If you have any recommendations on what I should draw next, comment below! Depending on how much time I have to make these, this will be a weekly series appearing on Wednesdays at 5 PM Eastern Time."
On my girfriend's birthday, we ended up going to an art place where we could drink bevs and paint whatever medium we wanted. My girlfriend ended up choosing an elephant for us to paint, and I decided to make my own interpretation of it by making a convict elephant. Overall, I'm feeling meh about it - I ran out of time at the place to do everything that I wanted to do, and the color palette they gave us wasn't too great as well (they had a lot of "neon" colors, hence why the orange in it isn't the best.) Nonetheless, here's what I painted:
If I have some time sometime, I might go back and fix it to make it to my liking! But what do you guys think? Any recommendations as to what I should make next? Comment below as I'd love to hear and discuss with you what you have to say about this topic!
