This is, for the moment, my favourite music video, and off the top of my head, not many match it how I am viewing it. Nowadays, to have a successful music video, simply put half naked, "beautiful" people in it and have them oiled up, mud wrestling or dry humping anything and everything in the frame. This music video is what I want to see more of. A clip with a narrative, a deep and interpretative meaning behind it, some creativity, amazing cinematography and the ability to portray it all through one very simple idea which is quite original and beautiful within itself without resorting to cheap content...
I seriously wish more music videos would get over the blatant and mindless attempts to sell music through sex appeal. As someone who is looking to get into the film industry as a career, with dreams of being a trailer / music video producer (or any job within that realm like editing, shooting) it's the music videos like this one that inspires me and motivates me to desire pursuing this pathway.
