This week, Gary gives Erin a gift to boost Erin's confidence, and both rivals find the perfect sparring partner in Tarina!
This episode was heavily rewritten to account for the fact that Ash doesn't have Gligar/Gliscor in the remix. So Gary's gift changes from an evolutionary item to a type power boosting item.
The battle with Tarina is brand new for the story--in the original, the group deal with the evil team. But I felt that Erin overcoming her fear was a conflict enough, so the admins did not need to get involved.
Next time, Dawn goes shopping for more Contest costumes, and Brock ends up having to work with a partner in the Hearthome Fantasy Stage!
