PokéCommunity is preparing to undergo a major update in 2023. All members should ensure they can access the email associated with their account as a password reset might be required post-update. The exact date of transition will be made available at a later date.

It appears IMGUR will be (and apparently has already started) deleting images that weren't uploaded directly to an account. You can check the update notes on IMGUR here.

We know a lot of you will have used IMGUR to upload images for your threads and other PC content (signatures, flairs, etc.) and not everyone was doing so with an account.

So please note that some of your existing images may break at some point in the future. We recommend making an IMGUR account if you plan to continue using IMGUR.

Well. I sometimes felt that I should revive this blog, but you can see I was too lazy/busy/both for that given the lack of updates the last couple years.

But the sad passing of David Bowie is a powerful enough exception, I think.

I'm far from the biggest fan of him (and we all know who that is on PC), but I've certainly enjoyed a lot of his music. And he was still making it, and good stuff as well!

So let's have some music education with some random videos...

Have another entry out of the blue. Not too much basis behind this entry - just a song I happen to like, heard it again recently, and I figured I probably should have a few more blog entries involving female vocalists!

Still open to getting challenge themes btw. Come up with a theme of any sort and I'll come up with a bunch of songs that fit it! Well, hopefully anyway. Otherwise I'll just go with whatever comes to mind.

It's what I do best here. Besides music blogs I guess.

Anyways, more of you should still join in the Writer's Dex! While the selected Pokémon have changed (now the focus is Shroomish and Breloom), you can also still write about Helioptile/Heliolisk if you so wish. It's a group project where we basically try and compile a bunch of writing for each Pokémon, one line at a time! And they can be short entries too. For sake of example:

The Writer's (Poké)Dex!

Basically, the aim is to try to get as many pieces of writing out for each Pokémon line, with that rotating every week. Entries don't need to be long - can be a drabble, or piece of poetry, for example. Do join in! The first set up is Helioptile and Heliolisk, and everyone likes lizards that can zap you I'm sure.

And if you review other people's entries you'll get a bonus review too! :V
