Only 2 days in the year and it's not looking good for you. :( I'm sorry. That's so awful.

Hope the rest of the year is good though.

Well, you're not dead so I'd say it's a positive point.

I hope you'll be fine!

I was home when it happened. We don't have any parking lots or driveways where I live, so I have to park in the street.

A neighbor in my apartment complex knocked on our door and asked if anyone here drove a Cobalt because someone hit it. I went outside with my dad and found the car knocked a whole car length back from where I parked it, completely smashed. My left light was on the sidewalk all the way on the right, and my car was actually pushed onto the curb.

The guy who hit it was driving a car without any plates on it. Before he hit my car, he hit another car at a stop sign who was going to turn. He kept going, and that car followed him. After that, he hit another car, across the street from me. And he hit a car in front of me before hitting my car.

The guy who he first hit talked to him, and the hit and runner was apparently out of it, according to the guy he hit at the stop sign. He ran after that, and the guy he first hit came back to the scene and told us that. And then another cop came by and told the cop handling the scene that the guy who ran left his wallet in the car (THANK THE LORD OH MY GOD) so they know who he is.

Obviously my car was taken away and I have to call them tomorrow. I called my insurance and while I don't have collision coverage, I have options that will ensure that I at least get my car fixed enough to drive it. I have to wait for the police report before I do anything, though, and that'll take about 7 days because they have to investigate and deal with the situation further.

There was also several witnesses across the street who saw what happened.

I am pretty numb. I don't care about anything right now.

Though I am reflecting about what happened and am seeing some silver linings that I am appreciative towards.

At least you're alright man. And, by the sounds of it, you'll be getting your car back somewhat fixed, which is definitely better than nothing, right? (I don't know much about insurance, so if there's something I'm missing, sorry). But yeah, glad to see that you're alright, buddy. Just hang in there.

That is horrible!

I'm glad to see that you're alright though. Can't say the same about your car. I hope everything falls back into place for you as soon as everything sorts out in the end.

Holy...
At least you weren't in the car when it happened and it wasn't your fault. I'm not sure how they're going to fix that...but if they are, at least your insurance will cover it. I'm sorry that had to happen to you, and you know I'm right here if you need someone.
