So I held off buying HG/SS or playing a ROM. I got it 4 days ago. It's great and all (G/S were the best games evar) and I'm having a blast...

but they TOTALLY butchered the above song. It's really filled me with angst.

I actually really like the new Dark Cave song. n_n; I love the beginning of it enough that the weird-ish middle/end part doesn't bother me much.

Goldenrod, on the other hand... :|

FFFFF I agree about Goldenrod. They did a good job with the game and _some_ of the music, but a lot of it sounds better 8-bit or at least the same style it used to be in...

The radio you can get at the end of the game to have it play the original music kicks ass xD

I'm playing through the game with my main goal to get that thing. And to, you know, nostalgia and (to a lesser extent) play pokémon.
