So I got let go from my job today.

Seriously sucks when that happens. Good luck on the hunt.

Ouch, what happened? Hopefully it was just a layoff and nothing more severe.

Yeah, collecting unemployment. I don't get bored, though, so I'm fine.

Basically, boss didn't like how much I elevated support requests to him.

I promise you you will get bored.

I wasn't even out a month the last two times I was without work and I was extremely bored 2 weeks in.

I wasn't bored the past few times I've had long stretches of unused time. I tend to make good use of my time, whether for entertainment or productivity.

I suppose unemployment is a very good time to learn a new skill.

And I guess my boredom mostly stemmed from having to conserve my money for job fairs at a time when most of my hobbies required money to go and do.
