Before I begin I'm going to thank everyone here from the last entry. I'm sorry that I haven't replied yet. I haven't had the time to...but I have taken all your advice and I'm going to use it to my advantage so I can do better in both classes. Work, and focus. That's the key to succeeding.

Soooo! I tried my first zombie apocalypse story. I just started reading "High School of the Dead". BIG MISTAKE TO START WITH THIS! To be honest the presentation of the manga was bad. The art was appealing, but the story wasn't any good barley anything was explained. Actually, nothing was explained. It was like this: normal day, sudden outbreak, STUDENTS TURN INTO ZOMBIES, battle, battle, blood, battle. No explanation as to what was going on. I should have picked a different thing to start with this zombie apocalypse stuff. xD My friend and I both agreed that the presentation of the story was weak. I always look for how the story is presented to see if the story is for me, and honestly the only thing I actually like about High School of the Dead is the attractive girl characters. Anyway, I'll try volumes 2 and 3. If it's not any good by volume 3 I'm dropping it. Oh, and if you want to know who my favorite character is...my favorite character is Saeko Busujima because she's awesome.

You have to take zombie stories on their own merits. Some aren't meant to explain where the zombies came from.
