3DS XL. It's worth it.

Get the 2DS. I know you're not me, but I don't actually use the 3D and actually never really have for any extended period of time (ie more than 5-10 minutes).

Get whatever works around your budget. If it's for X and Y, then you're just as fine with a 2DS as you are a 3DS XL. However, keep in mind that the 2DS does not fold, and the 3DS XL does. But also, the 3DS XL costs more than the 2DS as well.

You can probably find a good used 3DS XL for just about the same price...but if you don't care about the cost definitely get a new XL.

XL is definitely better, but 2DS is nice if you want to save some money.

Doesn't look like it. I forget what I do every year on Christmas, but I guess that means what I do do is not memorable, to say the least lol. I wish I could see people :C

Well unfortunately, I'm spending the eve working a six-hour shift at my workplace, as my mother's spending it babysitting my little niece. All because my sis & her husband are incapable of caring for her at the time.

*sigh* Well, beats being stuck back home with my estranged father...

Remember that it's just a game and it's there to be enjoyed with Pokémon and teams that you enjoy using, not just to win all the time - that's what made me stop caring about perfect move sets so much haha.

Anyways, I've experienced jet lag way too many times to count. Of course, being the type of person who likes to stay up late, it usually has a much stronger effect on me in particular :_:

If your cousin is lagging, it's probably due to other heavy traffic in your immediate area. As in, your neighbors.

Being on the internet if you're not downloading something or streaming a lot of HQ video will not give your cousin lag. Your cousin's a jerk.

Yeah that's what school does it consumes half your life. I think most people understand if your not as active here. :)

Because it is PBR cheap. All the models, except for Gen 6 Pokemon (which are the only ones that look good), are ported to the game. That's why it's awful.
This mentality needs to die honestly. What do you expect us to do? Buy an expensive game just for the sake of trying it out? If I don't like the looks of it then it's only natural I won't try it out and write it off. (with valid criticism, mind you.)

I beat B/W, for your record. Only thing it has going for it is the pacing which is why I bothered to finish it to begin with. (I haven't tried B/W2 though which is why I don't say much about it but the region being the same alone is enough to make me stay away.) And I am gonna try X/Y because I know my brother is gonna get it being the fanboy that he is. I'm just disappointed we get a talent like Game Freak (see: Harmo Knight, which looks absolutely fantastic.) wasted on milking a franchise that's getting worse and stale at this point. And this isn't nostalgia speaking, since I played G/S/C AFTER D/P/Pt. (I also prefer Platinum over G/S/C, but they're better games, really.)
