What is this I don't even [More BW complaining]

OK, I take back what I said about crying if American!Nintendo named Mijumaru "Wotter". Wotter is much better than "Oshawott".

And "Snivy". What is this I don't even. A Pokemon as awesome as Tsutaja does not deserve to have such a snot-sounding name.

Then there's "Tepig". It sounds like "t3h pig" which doesn't have anything to do with fire. It also doesn't sound very cute, which is what Pokabu is.

Finally, "Unova" for the region? Did Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, or Sinnoh get much of a name change? Noooooooooo. And if it's supposed to be pronounced "One of a", then that's lame. You guys have issues. /pun intended

If the European!Nintendo gives them better names, I may just buy from them, even if it costs me as much as it did to get my Japanese Black. I'm really hoping this is a joke and the real names are different or they change their freaking minds.

It's not ~that~ bad in comparison to like Mudkip..;-;

Mudkip sounds cute and fits it. Oshawott makes it seem old (although there is a doujin where Touko picks the little guy for looking like an elderly gentleman).

I'm on the disagreement side with you (see blog).

One point I'm going to emphasize here is that Isshu/Unova is supposedly something completely new, a revolution. So being a land far away it's going to be logical to see very strange names.

And you might wanna cool down now, because if the first 3 names are inconvenient, the next 200 could be hell XD

I've actually come to accept Snivy a bit, but I still can't stand the other changes. My opinion about "Unova" will stick for its terribleness. I don't care that they decided to be creative and name it something other than "Isshu" or "Issu" or whatever, but their choice just sucks hard.

And I'm already fearing for the other names, so it's too late for that ^^;
