Miniature NaNoWriMo . . . thing.

For the next seven days, today inclusive (Tuesday April 26th to Monday May 2nd) I'm going to be writing one chapter of my current fanfiction per day, at ~3,500 words a chapter. So wish me luck for that.

But the reason I'm blogging this is because I wondered if anyone else might be interested in joining in, just for fun. Write a chapter a day - they don't have to be as long as mine if you don't want them to be. Not everyone can manage three and a half thousand words a day. Course, it doesn't have to be fanfic. Original is fine too.

Oh, and no, this doesn't mean I'll be spamming the forums with a chapter every day. The idea of this exercise is to build up a backlog to work from during the school term.

    I might join in? I'm working on my Pokemon fics right now, but I don't think I could hit a chapter a day.

    I'll have to think about this.

    Well, I'm on holiday, so I have no excuse for slacking on my writing. I stuck one new chapter up last night, and I think I'll put one more up Thursday morning.

    3,500 words a day? For a week? That's 24,500 words in a week. Most published authors would KILL for that work ethic! Good luck, though. I'm just going to watch... from... a distance!
