I'm getting pretty suck of the Australian Winter. Some days it's forgiving, the others - absolutely relentless. Yesterday, there was some crazy rain for the whole day - large puddles everywhere. Today, I got to see the aftermath of it all. Not a pretty sight, if I may say so. Doesn't help that rainy and cloudy days mess with my mood a little.

So, over the weekend I attempted to port forward my modem in order to host netplay matches for a game I play. Unfortunately I didn't know anything about port forwarding, so I messed it all up and at the same time managed to block off my wireless internet. This sparked some pretty bad reactions from my mother and brother. They pestered me to get everything back on track, and after numerous calls from our ISP...oh wait.

This year was pretty awesome, in my opinion. I didn't really join much, only got into about...4 or 5 events, maybe, but it was still a bunch of fun. PC Survivor is the best thing to have been created, honestly. It's just...innovative to me. It really made the Get-Together, imo. Another big thing was hosting an event for the very first time. Sure, it looks outlandish, but it's easy to hold (at least, for me) and is considerably cheaper than the 3DS/XL, and really, all you lose is a feature that I don't think anyone uses anyway...at least, from what I know. xp
