My friend and I? Screwed.

Posted October 29th, 2008 at 2:38 AM by Motsuko Live

... wait, what? That definitely didn't come out right. Let me reword that: My friend and I are screwed.

During yesterday's period five (yes, we have five periods in my school), Joey and I decided to hack the school's network. Surprisingly, it wasn't that hard. Our Civics teacher, Mrs. Yuschician (also our music teacher), is constantly forgetting to log off of her account. Changing her password to 'JoshKellyIsSuperCoolAndBadAss100' wasn't a very difficult task. (Josh Kelly is... well, let's just say he deserved it. Using his name as a password was kind of an insurance incase we were caught). Anyway, with the account name and password of an apparently clueless teacher, we set to work on re-enabling UltrSurf. (That's right; all this work just to be able to access facebook at school. And, of course, PC, when no one's around >.>)

Unfortunately, in order to do so, we needed to create another administrator account from an existing account. Without thinking, Joey used his account.

*facepalm*

Anyone with an admin account [s]and a brain[/s] can now see that Joey was the one who hacked into Mrs. Y's computer. As far as I know they haven't found out yet, but I did get a phone call from my school last night (which I obviously didn't answer).

Anyway, as I said: Joey and I are up you-know-what creek.

No... you clearly did that title on purpose.

No... Um, I'm pretty sure I 'clearly' didn't. I obviously noticed the play on words a short while after, but I decided to keep it on there anyway. Besides, who cares? :/

I don't think it was worth it. :( You know something like that goes on your permanent record, right? One guy in my computers class in grade... 11, I think? He hacked into an admin's account and got suspended and kicked from the class--which he was doing really well in.

... @[email protected];; Thanks, Lightning. I feel so much better now. ;<

Actually, I do... they never caught Joey and I. They found out someone hacked the account, but they only gave everyone a warning, seeing as they couldn't prove who did it (Joey was going to argue that it could've just as easily been Josh as himself).

Oh, and it turns out that call was for a missed period, which wasn't even my fault to begin with; one of my teachers never took attendance, so Joey and I are safe. (for now)

You're absolutely right though, Erica; it totally wasn't worth it.

Haha, I'm very glad to hear that. xD I didn't mean to make you feel bad, but just wanted to stress how seriously they take it. Different school boards, but they're all pretty serious about it. XD

My school... Idiots. Seriously, their computer security is the worst ever. I never actually did anything permanent, though, only test runs to see what I could actually do if I wanted to.

I can hack just about anything.
