Yeah I'm back to spammin ya'll with video game music you prolly won't listen to... But considering my top 20 keeps shifting I decided to attempt to sort all the video game music I love by the mood they set.
So yeah.... best sad tracks in no particular order....
This has to be pretty much the best I have heard when it comes to sad songs... It has a kind of odd sound, but it adds to the allure... It SOUNDS like the kind of song that should go with a sad backstory.... I can think of three scenes in which the song plays, but I won't list them... Too spoilerific....
But if you can imagine it going perfectly with other situations.... That's kinda when it can be listed as good, in my opinion....
Okay, you honestly thought music from my favorite game wouldn't make its way in here? There are two versions of this song... and I used to be able to blend them to make a perfect emotional shift.... And I can't even find the other version on its own online! Oh well.... I found a version with both~ The second version is sad and whatnot, while the first one... It more permeates a lonely kind of sad.... It sounds empty, and can make you feel likewise.... A very beautiful song, and a close second to "So Alone, Be Sorrow" if not tied for first....
Yeah... this is another good one.... Not quite as emotionally grabbing as the other two, but it does still serve its purpose at driving home the emotions of the scenes to which it backs... And.... Admittedly... it still manages to make me tear up every now and again....
I went over this one in my top 20..... gets me every time....

Another I went over in my top 20.... My friend may have gotten over crying when she hears it... idk.... But it works when at the ruins of a church where a beloved friend will die....
