This week, the Jubilife Contest gets underway, but a Galactic admin is one of Dawn's competition!

Contests as a whole are dramatically different in the remix--there are no battles, and in Shinou, there's still the Visual, Dance, and Appeal rounds, just like in the games (unlike the games, the Appeal rounds have five appeals, to match RSE's appeal round)

Unlike in the real show, Dawn's costumes are different every Contest, rather than the same pink dress you wear in the games.

In the Dance competition, I'll be using songs from rhythm games (mainly Dance Dance Revolution, but there will be songs from other rhythm games, such as In the Groove, Pop'n Music, and Samba de Amigo.) as the songs the Pokemon will dance to.

So Mars' Bronzor danced to this
Zoey's Glameow Sylvie danced to this
Kori danced to this

Since Ash doesn't have Aipom in the remix, there's no point to him competing in Contests yet, so instead he is dividing his time between cheering Dawn and Brock on. Now that Brock has a new goal, having the Fantasy Stage occur alongside Contests was my solution to work them in (although not all the Fantasy Stages will be held alongside a Contest). Since Nando is now squarely on the Fantasy Stage route, he has no reason to be in the Contest either.

Team Rocket is replaced with Galactic Admin Mars and Galactic Admin Jupiter--Mars is one of Dawn's rivals (as her alter ego Marta) and Jupiter is one of Brock's rivals (as her alter ego Juno) They are more of a threat than Jessie and James would ever be, as they will make clear to Ash in a few episodes.

Next time, Ash catches the tail end of Jupiter's performance in time to cheer Brock on, but does Brock stand a chance against Nando?
