    This is why I decided to dramatically reduce when they appear in the series--when writing out the outlines, I found that in many episodes, I could delete them and still have a perfectly good plot.

    Oh this is an interesting idea! I don't remember much of the anime (I'm rewatching it slowly now just for fun), but I do wonder why they decided to include Team Rocket in every psyducking episode, when it wasn't really necessary.
