I now love my hair

I applied relaxer to my hair and now it's dead straight, which is quite a feat considering I used to sport an afro. I spent the better part of yesterday evening whipping my hair back and forth because it actually moved when I shook my head. XD

Most people who saw it said I looked Indian. I would post a pic here to let you guys decide but I'm too lazy to get the pic off my phone and upload it here, so you guys will just have to imagine it. :P

If you don't know what relaxer is, it's basically a chemical you apply to your hair to soften it, used mainly by Africans since our hair can't be tamed. If you want straight hair, think twice about using relaxer though. I didn't use it properly and had to wait 15 minutes as it felt like acid was being poured on my head. But it turned out fine~

That last paragraph makes me want to try it. Not for the softness of my hair, but that acid feeling interests me. X3

It isn't supposed to happen if you keep your hair dry for 3 days before applying the relaxer, but I didn't follow the instructions and spent 15 minutes in agony. XD
