Wow, I haven't blogged in a very long time. I'm trying very hard to get active on PC again. I've recently been getting 'back into Pokemon'.

So much has changed in my life since I was actually active on this forum. Without looking too much I would have to say that it was mid 2011 when I stopped being really active. Either way, I am going to try contribute to the forum and make friends.

After my last dog got sick and died. I've wanted another dog, but things just haven't been right for it between college, moving, and barely making it by when I first moved to Kansas City. Conditions still probably aren't ideal currently, but I'll be getting a dog tomorrow.

A good friend is having to move from his current location and has to find a home for his dog. His dog is really friendly and house trained and all that good stuff. He knows I've been wanting a dog for a long time, so he is giving me his dog. I pay the pet deposit for my apartment tomorrow then pick up the dog after that.

I have always had a dog around when I was growing up. When I moved to Kansas I went without a dog for a couple of years before I finally got an English Springer Spaniel that was unwanted. He was a really, really cool dog (and I miss him terribly), but got sick with an unknown illness that took his life. (The vet could not figure out what was wrong with him).

That was back in 2011. Here it is nearly 2015 and I am finally getting another dog. Though unfortunately, I don't know if I will have this dog very long. She is already 8 years old, and that is getting up there in dog years. She doesn't act like she is eight, so hopefully she still many years left and I get to keep her those years.

I'm really excited, but I should go to bed. 5am comes really early. Good night peps, and uh... thanks for reading?

TL;DR I'm getting a dog after many years of not having one.

$10 says she'll be all "I just met you and I love you."

I miss having a dog myself. I've had to get rid of two of them because of relocating, and it really sucks, they seem to fill a necessary gap in your life, and are irreplaceable.

A fellow Kansas Citian! Kansas City-ite? Anyways good for you. Pets can make a big difference in your life for being so small.
