"Sophisticated Idiot"? / Fangirl Spazzing

Since one can only have a blog entry once per day, I've decided to stick two things I want to talk about into one blog post. One will be on a more "serious" but lulzy note, while the other will contain spazzing of a fangirl who probably just really needs to shut up right about now! So let us begin.

"Sophisticated Idiot"? You're not an idiot Tara.
I've been told several times that I'm not an idiot since I've gotten this usertitle. But first things first: I'm not calling myself an idiot per se, but a Sophisticated Idiot. Now, what's the difference?

Well... let us go back to when the idea of a Sophisticated Idiot was first created.

It was during the New Year's Skype convo, in which since everyone was either too shy, or didn't have a mic, wasn't speaking but rather just simply chatting. This is when my sister and I, who had my laptop mic on hand, decided to "entertain" those who are in the actual skype convo. Though, to be honest, entertaining the folks in the chat wasn't out first intention. We just wanted to do something fun, which was try to beat up the extra boss on Tales of Symphonia: Abyssion.

Our first attempts failed. Miserably. Doesn't help that the game was on mania and we were only in the 80s (top level for Tales of Symphonia is 255). So, while I don't quite remember how it went, my sister and I started saying what we were going to do next. I think it went along the lines of this:

Me: Alright, Drea, time to go back to being idiots!
Drea: no, let's try to be Sophisticated this time.
Me: Hmmm... I know! Sophisticated Idiots!
Drea: Alright!

(I would assume all of you would know that 'Drea' is my sister.)

Again, not sure that's how it exactly went, but after we came up with 'Sophisticated Idiot' we put Lloyd and everyone else in their Formal Outfits (the Sophisticated part) and started to run around trying to beat Abyssion again (the Idiot part). Frankly, I think the only time we beat him was when Colette poisoned him, so we ran around (like Sophisticated Idiots!) until he was down to one hit point and smacked him with a Pow Hammer.

Sooo, a Sophisticated Idiot is one who is in a formal outfit, whom is either being a complete idiot, or is simply acting how you're not supposed to act when you're in a formal gown. :3

tl;dr: Abyssion. Tales of Symphonia. Formal Outfits. Running around like Idiots trying to beat him. Sophisticated Idiot.

FANGIRL SPAZZING OMGOMGOMGOMG
Luckily for you guys, I did all my caplocking over in DLTMS0 and TCTI earlier today, or else this would probably be in all caps. |D

But omgomgomgomg, I'm sure those who have spoken with me lately would know that I have been very eagered to see this last episode of the Tethe'alla Arc (of Tales of Symphoina: The Animation) because there was going to be a chance that Mithos was going to show this time around, right right right?

Well... Mithos isn't in this episode. I can pretty much guarantee that at this point.

Buuuuuuuuut, I was watching the extra (because the whole extra was uploaded) and one... WONDER CHEF. :DDDD I WAS TOTALLY NOT EXPECTING THE WONDER CHEF TO SHOW AT ALL, AND CAN I JUST SAY THAT HE LOOKS JUST SIMPLY ADORABLE? For those who don't know who the Wonder Chef is, he's the one who is currently my avatar right now. |D In the game, he hides in certain places disguised as something, and when you find him he gives you a recipe. :3 I used to play him on Livejournal, and after seeing that extra, I totally want to do so again~!!!!!

Anyways... so I was watching the extra, and after the extra was sketches of what's going to be in the next episode. Aaaaand guess what?

MITHOS MITHOS MITHOS MITHOS MITHOS MITHOS MARTEL MITHOS OMG MITHOS.

He looks sooooo adorable. :D I can't wait to see him animated! But that's not all!


tl;dr: MITHOS. WONDER CHEF IS ADORABLE. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE~!!!!!

It's more people curious as to where 'Sophisticated Idiot' comes from, than the fact that 'You're not an idiot Tara', Erik. I suppose you would know if you were around more.

Yeeeeeah. Nica, there is going to be so much fangirlism in my brain it'll be a surprise if I think of anything else other than maybe a sentence congratulating you guys, tbh. My fangirlism can go a long way.

I got lost in that fangirl part with all the 'Eeeeee'ing Xp but it is nice to see where sophisticated idiot came from, i was wondering what that meant!

I have one thing to fangirl about in this blog.
