This week, when some punks interrupt Ash and Nelson's battle, Silver evolves, and Entei intervenes to save the day.
The biggest change (besides replacing Team Rocket with some delinquents) was replacing Phanpy with Aina for the battle--Ash's team is complete, so save for one minor plot important substitution a little later on in the epic arc that makes up the Pokemon League, he will be using this team (which almost mirrors what I actually used in GSC--Tintri fills in what would've been an Espeon, but Ash will eventually get an Espeon later on in the series.
I also modified Nelson's match with Entei to better reflect what usually happens if you attempt to hold one of the Beasts with Mean Look--they will Roar, and frighten off your Pokemon.
As to whether or not Nelson eventually does battle alongside Entei, you'll have to decide for yourself.
Next time, we kick off the new year with the Pokemon League!
