Yes, today I revamped my entire blog, from removing the Oshawott background I've had for so long to making everything almost totally colorless shows that this blog has matured with me.

So, I marked the end of one chapter of my blog and started a new chapter. The new black, white and grey coloring shows I have to make new beginnings as I start to make the move from bright and happy to dark and serious.

I need to make new directions in my life, so from now on my blog entries will start getting more serious and less pointless. I'm not the noobish Hikari10 you once saw back in 2011, I am now a more serious and helpful user now.

Also, this would mark the end of memes in my blog, I need to dump the comedy roots for now (but not for my avatars and signatures) and show them that I have to bring out the true serious side of me that showed since my supportership.

Joining the PC Battle Server and its chat made me think more about where to go from here.

That was then... This is now.

I am not the pointless, trashy Hikari10 who once threatened to leave due to PC Viruse. Those days are over.

So, why do you like me? Is there anything about me you have interest in?

Equally so, being bright and happy and being serious are not mutually exclusive. :o

idk why you'd want to change though. People like you the way you already are, and if they don't, too bad for them. Not everyone is going to like you, whether you're bright and happy or dark and serious. So you should embrace why people like the real you, instead of randomly changing things about yourself. Because then, you're going to get people that like you for reasons that aren't truly you. And that's not a good thing. You might end up with fake friends.

You can be 20 and be bright and happy btw. I'm 20 and my room is filled with plushies. Not the ideal 20 year old's room of course, but it's what I like and if people have a problem with it, they can just not talk to me.

That's just my piece of advice though.

As I say a lot, change is not only inevitable, but necessary. This is an appropriate step for you, especially if you think it's for the best. You are the best and most critical judge of yourself.

(why did I get a notification for this? It said I have a unread comment on my blog and I don't have a blog yet.)

Anyway. I like the funny and and not serious version of you, though you can be both I guess. You're a fun person to be around and being funny is what makes you unique.

Changing yourself to appease others around you (I know you Hikari) isn't a good idea, Nichole. You're fine the way you are! You becoming a bit more serious isn't going to do you any harm, lord no, but this? I don't like it one little bit. Becoming a mature person does not mean you have to cast aside the personality that makes you who you are.

Ohhh, Nichole. :(
The reason people like you isn't because you're dark and serious. It's because you're upbeat and happy and bubbly. You don't need to throw that all away in hopes of seeming more mature. You can seem more mature in ways that don't mean you're sacrificing yourself and reinventing in a way that isn't really healthy.
