Yesterday I purchased a game that I originally got back in America called Rune Factory 4. I loved this game so much and really wanted to play it on my main 3DS, since originally I had to play it on a tiny American 2DS. As I got to the saving menu, that music played. It brought it all back. Memories of America. I've never felt nostalgia like that before. Can it still be called nostalgia if it's only over a year ago?

Well, back in April 2014 I set off on probably the biggest adventure of my life so far. I was going to America, Seattle to visit a really good friend who I knew online. We had been "friends" for quite a while, so of course I was super eager to meet them. We were gonna go to a convention together.

I remember I had to take some anxiety pills before getting on the plane because I was so incredibly nervous. If I recall correctly, around that time the flight from Malaysia had gone missing so I was incredibly nervous about flying. I managed to go to the airport after a long train ride and when I began to walk to the waiting room I could see how massive the planes were out of the window and that was when I really got scared. They were absolutely huge, I had no idea they were that big even. When you only see them in movies or up in the sky you really don't get a good perspective of just how huge they are.

In the waiting room I remember being nervous. It was just me and my mum going to America so really she was the only person I could talk to. The pills really didn't help much at all. Getting on the plane itself I felt pretty nervous too. I kinda felt like I was trapped. I couldn't get off now even if I wanted to, there was literally no choice in my mind. I knew I couldn't just ditch this either. I had to do it, especially for myself.

And so the plane lifted off. And well... I loved it. I seriously enjoyed seeing it go up and being in the sky. It was like nothing I had ever seen before. I mean just imagine being up there with the clouds for the first time? People who fly a lot take this for granted I imagine but me? I was starstruck. It was probably one of the best and most beautiful experiences of my life.

Look at how pretty that was. Going over the ice I was incredibly starstruck and just couldn't believe what I was seeing. I didn't get even a wink of sleep on that 8 hour flight because I was too taken back just by how great all of this was. It was absolutely amazing.

When we finally got to Seattle and into our hotel, it was so nice. When we did get there, there was a rainbow!

I slept like a baby that night.

I finally met up with my friend and we had a lot of fun at the convention and around Seattle too. It was an experience like none other. The convention itself was just a small amount of our time, but that's where I got Rune Factory 4. And they bought it for me! I cherish it like no other. I also have an Autumn Deerling plush from them too that was my first Pokémon plush ever (Well aside from ones given by my siblings) and started my huge plush collection. I didn't really get to buy them much (Though I got them something I'm sure) as I was pretty broke from going all the way to Seattle for them.

We did a few things with my mum too, like go to the Aquarium and stuff. It was great, and man... I miss it so much. I would do absolutely anything to go back to that time. Just to spend some more time with them and as I felt truly happy from the bottom of my heart. Maybe I'm making it out to be a bigger deal than it was, but I was incredibly happy and that was what mattered to me. I'm happy my mum was there too. She had never gone to a different country in her life and now she can brag she went to America which makes me happy.

Even though we no longer talk anymore and I miss them dearly, I don't regret going at all. It was seriously one of the happiest times of my life. Any time I feel like I can't do anything, I wish I could think back to how I forced myself to get on a plane and go all the way to Seattle despite being absolutely terrified. You can do it too.

See ya again sometime, Seattle.

Yeah. It's really my own fault, but that's part of life.

Yeah! I'd absolutely love to go back. There is a lot to see in America so it would be a shame not to return.

One of these days I've gotta have you come up to NJ so we can go to conventions and hang out.

Seriously I'm going to buy plane tickets for you and Derozio and I'll adopt you for like a summer.
