The Papyrus font is now gone in Windows 8

Good riddance? That font sure looked out of place, then again. I do think that anything using that font will look screwed up on computers running Windows 8 or later...

Also, one neat things I have noticed is that Comic Sans MS now has true italics, and not merely slanted letterforms. It's especially noticeable with its lowercase t's.

Comic sans doesn't need an italic version, it needs more weights to be considered mildly acceptable.

I wonder whether it was gone in Windows 7, too. I noticed that if you install Office 2007, the font will get installed. (That's the only one I have at hand.)

Okay, so there's one good thing about Windows 8 on my pros/cons list now. Cool.

What if it gets reinstalled when you install Office 2012?
