A bit sad that break is going to be over. As soon as its over I'm going to have to catch up with school again... Instead of preparing myself for finals and what's to come/what I haven't done I instead spent my Winter Break with my LDR boyfriend. I mean that's not too bad right? I mean, I rather have this moment in my life being with my boyfriend and getting to spend every minute with him and then not seeing...

Yep, I'm starting college today for the first time ever. I dunno why though, but I'm feeling really nervous and anxious about this.

What's bad enough though is that I have to go to two campuses for my classes this semester (because one class I'm required to take was not offered at my main campus). The main campus I'm attending is only 5-10 minutes away from where I live, whereas the other campus is at least 30-35 minutes across town.

My first class is at 8am on the...

After one year of fun, excitement, friendships, downfalls, and bitter rivalry, I am now finished being a Sophomore student.

This year, I got to know who I am. I made friends, ones who share with me, help, and support me, and foes, who love to tear me down.

I am also happy that I had amazing teachers who helped us mold our minds...

But most importantly, I am very glad that I get to experience this kind of year.

I'm going to be gone for a few days, I'll probably be on at night but during the day I'll be in 12 hours of classes until the 18th. So I won't be on as much. And then after that weekend I'll be in actual classes, so I'll still be here quite a bit, just not all day every day like I have been.

So an email was sent out a few weeks ago congratulating me on finishing my first year of Notre Dame and inviting me to apply for this program. It's a "week-long immersion program designed to strengthen foundational skills in science and engineering", paid for entirely by the Boeing Corporation. It's open to all students going into any Engineering or Science major. That's thousands of kids. They had room for 10. I applied but immediately wrote it off; I did pretty badly grades-wise this...
