Good Things are Good

Things are looking up and I am honestly the happiest I have been in a long time. Not only do I have a lot of awesome stuff to look forward to here on PC, but good things are happening IRL as well.

First and foremost is the promise of an improvement in my "career" as a competitive dancer. After a lot of troubles and a lot of searching my coach has at last informed me that that they have a new partner lined up for me. Of course, they also won't tell me who that is. As nerve-wracking as said coach messing with me is, I'm also really excited to find out what's in store for me.

I've also managed to reconnect with a lot of friends who I was falling out of touch with. When I was really deep into all that anger and sadness I stopped making an effort to talk to most people but I don't want to lose a lot of the friends I was neglecting so I've made an effort to rekindle things with them and for the most part I am pleased that we have been able to pick up from where we left off. Things are looking better with my ex too. We're talking more again and getting along really well, so who knows what will happen there? I'm just pleased that the constant looks of disdain have been replaced with a friendly smile.

Generally there's still a lot of things in my life I want to improve on, but I'm sure that's the same for everyone. Life isn't too bad right now and I'm happy that everything seems to be improving. Well everything except uni. But study will always suck, that's a universal truth.

I'm really pleased for you gimme, I only know too much about feeling distant with someone you used to be really close with so I'm glad that you were able to mend some of these relationships.

Yeah, it's never a good thing so I'm quite pleased myself. Hopefully you'll have some similar luck :)
