HGSS Dreams (and Zelda dreams)

Before the release of HGSS, I was having all these weird dreams that HGSS was actually going to have another region north of Kanto and Johto and that it had something to do with the Lake of Rage. I don't even remember if it was just one region, it could've been one extra region and a mini region.

Man that was so weird.

I also have these weird dreams where Phantom Hourglass is actually gazillion times better than it is. It's an okay game, probably the lowest in quality (we'll see if Spirit Tracks is any worse) but from my dreams it seems to rival the greatness of Majora's Mask. I really think the touch control was an interesting implementation and is sort of the main reason why I bought the game. I wasn't disappointed at all in that aspect. I actually found some use of the touch screen freggin awesome. Here's a list
1. Drawing symbols on the sea map to warp - THAT was a new one
2. Using the grappeling hook to make a tight rope - I thought you could only tight rope walk in Twilight Princess as Wolf Link.
3. Using the grappeling hook to get onto higher ledges by standing on top of a target post. I never thought it would be possible to do anything like this in a 2d based game.
4. The arrow puzzles with that arrow shooter that you had to make change directions. Not as interesting as the above but pretty interesting
5. The bombchu was freggin useful in this game. I used them to explore in the Temple of the Ocean King.
6. The hammer catapult was awesome.

Well my dream made even more innovation. However, I could only sense the innovation vaguely and couldn't exactly say what the great new features were. One thing was that the game was land-based.

Good Farore! This journal entry almost turned into a review of PH! XD

Agreed on the touch screen thing (HAMMMMEEEEEERRRR!). Main problem I had with PH was the lack of lastability. You can't really pick it up and start again.

The boss battles were fun, tho. As was the boomerang. I spent sooo long just playing with that doodad. :3
