Queen - The "Process"

In a bit of haste, I put together a little study of screenshots I took while I was working on my last drawing.

My character is a Queen? I'm more interested in the fact that this is the first time in a while I've drawn her without glasses on.

It should also be noted that this stays on PC. I won't be posting it on deviantART, mostly because I feel more comfortable with something like this staying strictly on the forum I love the most.

Anywho...

Gah, I wish I could draw as well as you. Then I wouldn't have to scour the Internets for stocks and renders for my sigs. XD

I also tend to flip my sigs while making them, by I don't think I ever catch mistakes that way...>__>

Wow, the process you go through looks really complicated. D: But what you came up with looks amazing, which shows you're really talented. Also, interesting that it looks like something from Yu-Gi-Oh, not sure of what though. XD

I think the only critique I could give is that you should watch your ellipses on the crown (cause it isn't actually technically going around her head) and that it would've been a bit more pleasing if you put more depth to her staff by rotating it a bit so that both sides aren't "straight-on/flat" and there was a but of overlap. You seemed to have it in the sketch but you didn't carry it through in the final and I thought that it would've been a nice touch to show some depth.

Other than that it's lovely!

Really appreciate the comments, guys. And Kura, thanks for that critique! I didn't quite understand what you meant when I read your description, but I have tweaked both the crown and the staff a fair bit.

It looks better, but I can do a draw-over if you'd like tonight to show you what I mean. :3 It's just some minor things, so don't worry, but for the most part this is a very VERY lovely illustration!
