Quote:Ahh yes. It was quite common in the 80/90s
I think the Carlin dub is better than the ringo one as Carlin shows more enthusiasm in his narration.
Also I found this documentary https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-GDjKoq5Fs my parents taped it when it was on originally and I used to watch it again and again and again lol.
I don't know what it is, but this show just sings to me. Odd, I know.Posted February 20th, 2015 at 1:08 PM by Cura -

Also, "the" George Carlin narrated the show in the U.S.? Not sure if childhood enhanced or childhood ruined.Posted February 20th, 2015 at 12:43 PM by Cura -

Oh, wow! I remember TUGS. I think it was on the same island as well, or a neighboring island, it seems when a studio makes shows, they all interconnect some way.Posted February 20th, 2015 at 12:13 PM by Cura -

Yes, my Childhood to, but I had the UK Ringo one. I had (and still have the Hornby 1:76 00 gauge Model of Thomas, Percy, Anne and Clarabelle and a few Troublesome trucks (the trucks don't really look like the ones in the TV series though http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/9/0/6/0/3/3/webimg/410205227_tp.jpg so I can just about use them with my other model trains and it not look too silly).
Have you seen the show tugs by the same studio as Thomas, I think I enjoyed that series more (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MeBqjsM0yVA).Posted February 20th, 2015 at 12:09 PM by Gardevoir the Dragon Slayer -

Looking forward to what you come up with. Hope you get the game and you don't need to restart, though. Best of luck with this project of yours! :]Posted March 17th, 2013 at 12:26 PM by derozio
