My computer's browsers are acting funny.

Internet Explorer 10 suddenly loses security tokens on PC, so it now makes me log out and log in just to do exactly one action... and then I have to do it over again.

Firefox 11 isn't faring well, either. Although it's usable, it's barely usable. Glitchy interfaces just makes me have a bad day. "PC Supporter 3" replacing the standard "Minimize/Restore/Close" buttons on the window, anyone?

UPDATE If you're able to, add the X-UA-Compatible meta tag to all the pages on PC now!
Code:
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE9" />

UPDATE 2 Either that, or disable Quick Reply with IE10. Quick reply is bugged in IE10.

You're the only person in the world that I know of under the age of 50 who uses Internet Explorer.

We show respect to them. It can just get a bit irritating when people insit that its the best browser and everyone should cater for it.
Sure it has its good points and may even beat other browsers in a few areas but overall there are quite a few browsers out there that trump internet explorer.
Not to mention how a lot of the time you seem to bring up how older, out of date browsers aren't compatible. A new version is always made for a reason. If anything sticking up for out of date browsers is worse than critisising the new ones because if you never point out the problems then it'll never get better. Not to mention sticking with oldertime mak versions is a bit of a slap in the face to the developers who spent all that time making the new version.

There are some things that you just cannot dodge. Sigh.

No respect for IE users? This is the kind of attitude that just hurts. :(

I'm much more of a Mozilla Firefox fan myself; the only times I bother to use Internet Explorer is when a computer that I'm at doesn't have Firefox available (which is in most cases at academic/public computer labs)... Not to mention that I'm more prone to getting virus-ish pop-ups whenever I use Internet Explorer as opposed to FireFox. It's even worse when they unexpectedly happen at times when I didn't even click anything. Even Opera, Google Chrome, and Apple's Safari haven't performed that badly as Internet browsers.

So yeah...I have little respect for Internet Explorer (the browser itself), other than that it has a nice graphical interface, it has served as the "gateway" to the Internet for many Internet users (myself included), and that you can still use it to get to Mozilla's website to download Firefox. :cer_laugh: I will have *some* respect for the users, though, because in some cases, you can't control your Internet-connecting circumstances (i.e., your only options are academic computer lab or public library that only have Internet Explorer installed on their computers).

But if you're using Internet Explorer by choice and have the capability of installing other browsers...it might be a good idea to reconsider, please. ^^
