/PC

So, I'm packing up and heading out. I'm not looking for drama. I don't want people to come on here and go 'lol u n00b stop attention-whoring'. I'm leaving quietly; I just thought I'd let you know, that's all.

Sure, I may keep logging in. But I won't be posting to my blog, I'm unsubscribing all my threads, I'm turning off my VMs to everyone except friends, and I'm pruning said friends list. If you really want me for some reason, you can find me at the BBS (fanfiction buddies ^_~) or email me. There's a thing on my profile or something. If not, I'll chuck it in the About Me or something like that.

Why am I leaving, you ask? Am I just 'sick of the drama' like so many others? You could say that, but that's not the main reason. No, I was talking to someone earlier today who was trying to teach me a lesson. It was a lesson I wasn't sure I needed, but it doesn't matter because I didn't really learn it anyway. He did, however, inadvertently, teach me something else. Something he said made me wonder 'seriously, what the hell am I doing here? What is the point?' I don't feel that my time on PC has been wasted or anything, far from it. I've made some good friends, had some good times. But there are so many other things I could be doing.

So I'm shipping out. I am officially cancelling all in-progress fanfictions. Never doing another chapter-fic again, unless I happen to rewrite Shattered or Faith one day. Maybe even the old Edge Chronicles, idk. But for now, no.

I repeat, this is not a DRAMA DRAMA ZOMFG I'M LEAVING NOW DISS ME COS I'M EMO blog that some of you may have been expecting. I really do love you guys, but I just don't fit.

I'm off to arrange the abovementioned bits and pieces now. I'll drop by for the new DCC on the first of January, but that'll be it, pretty much.

I'll check back on this blog entry for a day or so as well, so if anybody wants my personal email or something, idk?

Just the usual. Nothing major, but I'm tired of the everyday quibbling, the cliques, all that crap.

"Being sick of the drama" ends up being a bad excuse, take it from those who've learned. You're sick of the drama because you let it get to you. Just do your thing and don't take heed of what others do, and stay. You say you don't fit, but really who does fit? This is a pokemon forum after all.

The cliques? My, god. You have got to be kidding. Cliques have been around for god knows how long, why are you now just noticing them and letting them get to you? I can't help you because I don't know the whole story, but my god, newbie. Clam up!

I know we have barely ever talked, but you dont know how much I have wanted to talked to you. You seem so nice and interesting. I am sad to see you go, and a friendship we could have had.

@Gavin/Will: Like I said, being sick of the drama isn't my main reason for leaving. I've long been aware of the cliques and the crap that goes on here, and I've been living with it, but what ol' Mr X said made me realise that I've been spending far too much time on here as it is. My internets are running out, and I could be doing so much else.

@Natsu: Yep, I'll see you around there. No problem.

@Momo: If I regret it, I can always come back. I'll try to stay elsewhere for at least the rest of the holidays, though.

@Violense: I know you don't like me for some reason, but I can't for the life of me work out what that reason is. If you can't think of anything more intelligent to say and must resort to semi-trolling, I wish you the best of luck in life. And really, this is leaving quietly, compared to a) what I've seen some people do and b) some of the choice ideas that were roaming around my head before posting this. I know I could have just disappeared, but I wanted people to know that I've gone and why, plus where they can find me if they need me.

Real quick, are you still doing Bang Head Here? I was considering reviewing that story, but you said you're canceling all of your fanfic projects now. Not sure if that story is included, though.

Helping what situation? He's gone, he decided that he was leaving before he even posted the blog. What 'little circle'? Look kid, I don't know what your problem is, but you need to seriously get over it. You've gone from a mere annoyance to a first class jerk. There's no difference between a clique and a group of friends, stop your crap with cliques.

No, Violense, a group of friends is a group of friends. A 'clique' is
–noun 1. a small, exclusive group of people; coterie; set.
The key word here is 'exclusive', which seems to me to be what you have. And to be entirely bloody honest, you're the one acting like a first-class jerk, not Gavin.

Stop being ignorant, cynical, and stop blaming others for your problems. Also, there is a difference. Exclusiveness is the difference.

News flash: Just because you don't talk to a certain group of people doesn't make them exclusive.
