Haha, but seriously, HeartGold is pretty cool. I wasn't originally going to transfer any non-2nd gen Pokémon in but I put my Mareep on the Pokéwalker and it gained a level and thus didn't learn Thundershock. So I had to trade it over to Diamond and move tutor the move back on. While I was doing that, since I'd given up on Hoppip as my grass Pokémon, I ended up trading a LV1 Cherubi over. I don't regret it at all because for the last two days I've been sitting at my DS going "AWWWWW" whenever it did something adorable. Which was pretty much always. ♥
So yeah, my team right now (I'm halfway through Ecruteak Gym):
~ Aligatueur ♂ (Croconaw) - LV22
~ Ceriflor ♀ (Cherrim) - LV25
~ Nostenfer ♂ (Golbat) - LV22
~ Pharamp ♂ (Flaaffy) - LV21
Things of note:
→ I was doing so well with keeping everything the same level until Cherubi accidentally got a level ahead in the bug catching contest. At level 21, it was... so close to evolving. D: I might've overlevelled it (compared to the rest) really quick to evolve it after that. XD;
→ I think I have an HM slave too. Paras. No idea what level it is and I didn't nickname it. :(
→ Speaking of nicknames! I've recently become enamoured with the French Pokémon names. Started when I fell in love with "Ceriflor" (Cherrim's French name) and I ended up naming all my Pokémon after a French name in their line. Seriously, the French names are awesome!
→ I really, really, really like the new Voltorb Flip game. It is so addicting. And so much fun. AND SO MUCH BETTER THAN SLOTS. It's not quiiite so up to chance anymore. ;o; I don't totally suck at this! I might've clocked about 5 hours playing it already! This point has too many exclamation marks!
→ I haaaaaaaaate hate hate Goldenrod City's music. This is severely disappointing because if you spoke to me before/around HGSS was announced, I would have told you the ONLY THING I was looking forward to was hearing the remixed version of Goldenrod City's music. I just... don't like it. I'm so disappointed. D:
→ I don't think I would like this game as much if it weren't for all the things they added. I know the changes and additions piss a lot of people off, but I think I'd be so ridiculously bored without them. :/ I guess my love for GSC really WAS just nostalgia, lmfao.
