Finally something good comes my way!

Okay, I have talked about how my 2009 totally sucked and now it seems 2010 is continuing on what 2009 was. I still haven't been able to find myself a job, plus I was so worried that I will owe the state and the feds money for only working 1 month in 2009, plus my state has this ****ed up law where you HAVE TO HAVE health insurance or pay a fine.

Well, my Mom went to do her taxes and did mine over at the tax place as well because of the lack of work I did in 2009. When she returned, she game me news that I never, ever expected.

I'M GETTING MONEY!!

I don't owe NOTHING! I don't have to pay the state's fine for not having health insurance. She told me that since I made nothing at all and I'm like, well below the poverty line or something, I'm getting some money.

The end result is that I'm getting back a total of around $800 from both the state and the feds, but I have to pay my Mom around $180 for the fee to process my taxes.

After all the **** I've been through in these past 14 months, something good came my way!!

Yay! You are worried over nothing. My brother got some money even if didn't work for five months. He didn't need to pay the IRS anything. I am so happy that you are getting some money back. :3

I'm planning on saving as much as I can with what's left after I pay back my Mom, but this means I can finally get those new Pokemon DS games!!

That and maybe a few other things. One thing that my Mom has taught me is to go cheap if it's possible. I tend to do a lot of shopping at Amazon.com for stuff that's low in price.
