This week, Ash and the gang try to rescue Agrios, but the rescue goes horribly wrong when they run into Butch and Cassidy!
Since Ritchie doesn't yet have scuba training in the remix, I had to create a roundabout way for him to get to Ash and the others on the boat in time for him to help Ash burn the boosting machine, so his being a chaser to Ash and the others worked very well
The boosting machine allowed me to work in a way one might artificially induce Pokemon to sing the Swanna Song (albeit in Poke-gibberish instead of the actual lyrics), and what that might do. Since it is just a prototype, and Ash and Ritchie destroy it before we see it at full power, it is not known at this stage in the story just how powerful that would be. However, Dr. Namba has a second prototype on board the base, which the gang does get to see used at near full power.
Next time is the exciting conclusion of this arc--from here, Ash finally gets his long overdue match with Jasmine!
